Buy Swim/Bike/Run Gear (That Suits You)
IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO FIND A BROAD RANGE OF ATHLETIC GEAR AND APPAREL THAT FIT YOU OR SUIT YOUR TASTE. WHATEVER YOU'RE LOOKING FOR, WIGGLE PROBABLY HAS IT - AND THEY DELIVER TO YOUR DOORSTEP FOR FREE*
For those of us who call Japan "home" (temporarily or otherwise), it can be difficult to acquire the athletic gear we've grown accustomed to, or find apparel in sizes not common in Japan. Some of us mule back what we need from home or when abroad, while others get by with the help of online sources, like Amazon or Eastbay. Of course, there are also countless brick and mortar shops from Oshman's to Mont Bell and Sports Authority catering to athletes of all types and sizes. In the larger cities, specialty shops such as Athlonia and ART Sports, are particularly suitable for those seeking uncommon sizes, high-end products, and imported goods.
But to be honest, we're kind of lazy.
We don't have the time to visit seven different storefronts - physical or online.
We want it all in one place and without feeling victim to highway robbery.
Which is why Wiggle is our manna from the athlete heavens.
Whether you're a cyclist looking for affordable accessories, a runner seeking new stability running shoes, or a swimmer in the market for a cute two-piece swimsuit, you would be hard pressed to find something Wiggle doesn't already stock. And for reasonable, if not competitive prices. With exceptions, shoes and apparel carry a wide range of sizes, including those less common in Japan. Moreover, the variety of brands available easily surpass that of Amazon or any physical store. With a little time, using the appropriate filters to sift through the sales section will surely uncover items you've always had your eye on - or that you don't really need but want.
In addition, Wiggle Guides are a useful tool when you're not always sure what you need or what it is that you're really even looking for. Buying, How-To, and Training guides for swimming, cycling, running, and triathlon help athletes of all levels (especially beginners) gain a better understanding of "doing the sports" in a convenient, digestible manner.
Bottom line, if you haven't already shopped online with Wiggle, you're missing out on some darn good deals.
But if you aren't ready to commit your credit card to the hands of the online shopping god(dess), you can peruse through their guides - and learn of all the things you don't have, and must buy.

A Very Brief History
What was once a simple brick and mortar cycling store in the United Kingdom expanded to a strong online retail presence in the mid to late 2000s. Since 2011, Wiggle has maintained several retail websites for international customers outside of the UK. In 2016, Wiggle merged with Chain Reaction Cycles, but the two brands retain separate websites and identities.
