Take a break from the busy tourist destinations and visit the city of Ome, conveniently located just an hour away from the heart of Tokyo on the Chuo Line. Make it a day trip or an overnight trip at an onsen!
On the course, you'll travel back in time to find hidden villages of old private "minka" houses used as a school for farming and agriculture. The area is known to be a "power spot," or a sacred location with mystical energy. Come and see a part of Tokyo that many people have not seen before! En route to the finish, 30KM participants will receive a charm at Mt. Takamizu. In past years, both 15KM and 30KM participants have received calf compression sleeves as the main race entitlement.

Please note that the course map and advertised distance may not align perfectly. According to the race organizers, this is due to the fact that the area does not always ping well using GPS or GLONASS. Additionally, the course map calculates distance between several geographical coordinates that do not account for irregularities in the surface of the route nor changes in elevation relative to the idealized surface.
Should you find a discrepancy between the advertised distance and the map, you may reasonably expect to run a maximum of the distance advertised but may also find that the distance actually covered more closely resembles that of the course map provided.
