Kujukuri Triathlon, or the 99 Tri for short, is one of Japan's largest and renowned triathlons. The mild climate and flat terrain along the beautiful coast makes it an ideal course for all athletes. Located in Chiba Prefecture and easily accessible from Tokyo, Kujukuri Beach is Japan's second longest beach and known for its year-round water activities, such as surfing and jet skiing.
After crossing the finish line, don't miss the finisher's BBQ party (included in your race fees)! Come and enjoy fresh grilled hamaguri (Japanese clams) and other famous local dishes before heading back to Tokyo!

|Samurai's Recommended Schedule||Our Recommendation
For participants in the Tokyo area, we recommend following the directions (above) from Shinjuku or Tokyo station to Kazusa-Ichinomiya station. All things considered, you should put aside at least 2 hours to make a one-way trip.
At Kazusa-Ichinominya station, we strongly recommend utilizing the event-specific shuttle service to Ichinomiya beach. Shuttle buses depart every 15-30 minutes and bikes can be loaded onboard. You may also opt to take a taxi or public bus (bikes must be in rinko bike bags).
As with all events, please plan ahead and arrive early due to traffic congestion, weather conditions, and road closures.
