About the Event

Kujukuri Triathlon, 99 tri for short, is one of Japan's largest triathlons. Kujukuri Triathlon is known to be the "perfect triathlon for beginners" (and those seeking PBs!) due to the nature of the course. The toll roads used for the bike route is a straightshot with no sharp curves or windy roads and the breezy shoreline on the run course is flat. We're also excited to announce the new half Ironman / middle distance at the Kujukuri Triathlon this year!

Kujukuri Beach is located in Chiba Prefecture and is easily accessible from Tokyo (just an hour and a half away by car!). It is known for its year round water activities, such as surfing and jet skiing. It s also known as Japan's second longest beach. Registration fee includes the finisher's BBQ party. Come and enjoy fresh grilled hamaguri (Japanese clams) and other famous local dishes before heading back to Tokyo!
