|Directions|| By Plane
Fly to Iwate Hanamaki Airport (from Osaka/Itami, Nagoya/Komaki, Sapporo, or Fukuoka). Then, take a taxi or rental car to the Shizukuishi Prince Hotel (about an hour or ¥14,000).
By Bullet Train
From Tokyo station, take the JR Akita Shinkansen Komachi to Shizukuishi Station (about 2 hours 40 min). Then, take a taxi to the Shizukuishi Prince Hotel (about 20 min, ¥4,000).
Alternatively, take the JR Tohoku Hayabusa from Tokyo station to Morioka Station (about 2 hours 20 min). Then transfer to the Tazawako Line Local Train towards Omagari to Shizukuishi Station (about 20 min). Then, take a taxi to the Shizukuishi Prince Hotel (about 20 min, ¥4,000).
From Tokyo or Ikebukuro, take a highway bus to Morioka Ekimae station. Transfer to the JR Tazawako Line and take the local train to Shizukuishi Station (about 20 minutes). Then, take a taxi to the Shizukuishi Prince Hotel (about 20 min, ¥4,000).

|Samurai's Recommended Schedule||If you have the means, flying into Iwate Hanamaki Airport and rent a car.
We strongly recommend participants take the Komachi Tohoku Shinkansen from Tokyo station to Shizukishi station the day before the event. If possible, contact the hotel in advance regarding the courtesy bus service; otherwise, take a taxi to the Shizukishi Prince Hotel.
Stay overnight, then ride on Sunday. Participants may opt to leave their luggage at the hotel and pick it up after the ride, or take their belongings to the race site where there will be an area designated for bags and gear.

There will no fee refunds due to inclement weather, or for participants who, for whatever reason, eventually do not take part. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Event entries are non-transferable. Any person doing so will be held responsible in case of an accident arising from or provoked by the other person during the event Participants determined to be violating this policy will be disqualified without a refund. The event organizers will reserve the right to exclude both parties from future events.
1. Please check that your bicycle conforms with the event regulations and follows all safety requirements listed by the event organizers. We will send you a safety check list 2 weeks prior to the event, which you will need to print, sign, and hand in to reception on race day.
2. All bicycles must have brakes in BOTH the front and rear.

Single gear bicycles with equipped free-hub front and rear breaks
Regular city bicycles
Handlebar end grips

DH/aero bars and clip on handle bars
The insurance included in the entry fee only covers the day of the event for 24 hours. Riders requiring longer coverage must purchase additional insurance on their own.
Each individual entry fee is inclusive of a 3000 yen English language support service.
