Explore Tokyo and make new discoveries about Japan’s capital city! Get comfortable on the saddle as you cycle around the city and visit the many attractions that make Tokyo so interesting.
Throughout the course, you’ll see everything from the most famous tourist attractions to the lesser known areas frequented by locals. On the course, there will be aid stations for riders to rest their legs, hydrate, and finish strong! Support vehicles will also be roaming in case of emergencies. It’s the perfect ride for beginners and the weekend warrior to participate on a brisk fall morning!
Bike Tokyo allows you to appreciate the vastness of Tokyo! Participants may move about freely on the course as their pace dictates. This event is not for experienced cyclists seeking a fast and furious training day – no pelotons, drafting, or timing chip.
Please note that all children must be able to ride their own bikes, e.g. no children on child seats/carriers on the front/back of a bike.

|Eligibility ＆ Time Limit||Bikes must have front and rear bicycle lights.
All cyclists must wear a helmet, obey traffic rules, and follow proper cycling etiquette.
All children must be able to ride their own bikes, e.g. no children on child seats/carriers on the front/back of a bike.
All groups and participants must finish by 4PM.
Must be age 10 or older who are healthy enough to complete the approximately 50KM (31 miles) ride. Participants under 18 must have an adult accompany them throughout the entire ride.

|Remarks||・There will be no dressing/changing room. Please arrive ready to participate in the event.
・There will be a baggage deposit/bag check. However, you should keep all valuables with you, as Samurai Sports nor the event organizers will be held responsible for any losses or damage. If you arrive by car, please leave your personal items in a secure place in the car.
Those participating and coming from abroad must be enrolled in medical and/or travel insurance in case of accident, injury, and medical emergencies.
Before signing up, please carefully read all rules and regulations of the event. If the rules and regulations cannot be followed, participation may be denied by the event organizers. If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to contact us - it is your responsibility to be prepared.
1. Your bicycle must conform with event regulations and cyclists must follow all safety requirements listed by the event organizers.
2. All bicycles must have brakes in BOTH the front and rear.
The following are PERMITTED:
Single gear bicycles with equipped free-hub front and rear breaks
Regular city bicycles
Handlebar end grips
The following are PROHIBITED:
Bicycles with no brakes
DH/aero bars and clip on handle bars
・ No refunds or credits will be issued. This applies to incidents in which the event is cancelled for any reason including personal participant circumstances of the participant (including illness and injury) and incidents in which the event is cancelled due to unforeseen weather conditions or natural disasters.
・Event entries are non-transferable. Any person doing so will be held responsible in case of an accident arising from or provoked by the other person during the event. Participants determined to be violating this policy will be disqualified without a refund. The event organizers will reserve the right to exclude both parties from future events.
・You will not sue the event organizers nor its affiliates (including Samurai Sports) for any injury or death caused during the event.
・ You consent to and will give all authorities and copyright to the event organizer and affiliates for the use of photography, motion pictures, articles, recordings or any other record of this event (including personal information such as name, age, gender, personal record, portrait, and etc.) for legitimate purposes and use in newspapers, TV, magazines, internet and any media publishing such as Facebook posts, Instagram posts, and pamphlets.
・ Please ensure you have lodging and transportation plans figured out BEFORE registering for this event, if applicable.
・In most cases, athlete guides in English will be sent via email approximately 2-3 weeks before the event. However, the delivery of athlete guides is entirely dependent on the timeliness of the event organizers. Samurai Sports takes approximately one to two days from receipt of the Japanese athlete guide to translate into English.
|Parking||There is no reserved parking lot for this event, please use available parking lots nearby. You may not park on the streets near the National Stadium.|
